The catalogue

A few weeks ago I was privileged to shoot a catalogue for an exciting jewelry store called Jade. The shoot was in Stellenbosch, Cape town. It was my first time there even though I’ve lived here for four years. The place is so beautiful. What took me so long??

Jade jewelry makes unique pieces from bracelets to necklaces to rings to earrings, you name it they’ll make it. The store owner is Annemarie who designs each piece herself which makes it so special. The photographer is Eric Uys who is not only a friend but a talented photographer and actor. Also on set was Christine who is a model, actress and my friend. This was a topless shoot so working with people I already knew made things much more comfortable.

After work, we (but mostly me) stuffed ourselves with the most amazing sushi then to top it all Annemarie gave us each jewelry pieces from her collection. Oh! happy day 🙂
