In my four years of professional modelling, I have heard a lot of mean and funny things told to models. Here are my top seven:
Are you a model?
This may sound innocent but trust me, we are TIRED being asked this question. Mostly because it never leads to anything. You ask if I’m a model. I say yes then that’s that? WHY THE HELL WERE YOU ASKING ME IN THE FIRST PLACE??
Are you dating a white guy?
This is especially true for black models. People just assume that since you are tall, dark and slim you are definitely getting some white chocolate. Not true!
You’re so skinny
Next!
Show me your pictures
Why? Unless you’re offering me a job, why do you wanna see my portfolio??
Introduce me to your friends
Okey! I must admit, as models we hang around beautiful people all the time but that doesn’t make us pimps. Having people insisting on introductions to our model friends is annoying. Go do it yourself and leave us out of it, otherwise, two words buddy NOT HAPPENING!
Do you eat?

That "Are you dating a white guy?" is the worst esp if your answer is "as a matter of fact, yes I am". You''re automatically put in a box in their heads - probably labeled 'Whoring bitch'- that you shall forever reside despite the fact that you don't look at whoever you're dating as white/black/green but as a human being that rocks your boat.
