PERFECT TIMING

This is my favorite quote of all time.

I now firmly believe that the term “perfect timing” was coined by a  procrastinator. Perfect timing doesn’t exist. It’s an illusion my friends. You will keep waiting for it and it will never come. All you have is NOW! Use it. If you have a dream start working on it. Stop making excuses about money, time, relationship, kids, school or any other excuse your mind creates. Learn to prioritize. That’s all it takes. Create time for that thing you want to do.

When I graduated University at 24 I knew I wanted to move to another country. I didn’t know where exactly I wanted to go but I wanted to start my modelling career. I applied to agencies all over the world. Only one said YES and that was in Cape Town. The universe had given the direction. I packed my bags and moved to a country where I didn’t know anyone, no friends, no relatives and very little money to my name. All I had was a suitcase full of clothes and a heart full of dreams.

Looking back, it was very daring decision, still a mystery how parents let me do it.

I wasn’t afraid though. I had made up my mind. It was now or never. Five years later and I am still here, realizing my dream a day at a time. If you FULLY commit yourself to your dream, don’t worry about how, when ,why, what. Just take the first step. The universe has everything set up for you. You just gotta start. Think of it like a jigsaw puzzle. All the pieces have been handed to you. All you need to do is take the time to put them together for you to see the full picture.

No one knows about tomorrow, so do TODAY what needs to be done!
